We can build a safe, healthy future for people and the planet.
But only if we close the information and accountability gap.
The Canadian Climate and Forests Society equips the people most impacted by climate change and biodiversity loss to become the lead architects of a shared, thriving climate-safe future.
We do this by providing the education and transparency those leaders need to bridge information and accountability gaps between communities, corporations, and governments. We also partner with others who are working to conserve and restore forest ecosystems and biodiversity, and avoid or reduce the impacts of climate change on ecosystems and communities.
While many countries and international bodies have made strong environmental and climate action commitments, implementation is lagging behind. The Canadian Climate and Forests Society bridges the gap between these pledges and reality by ensuring governments and corporations are held accountable to the goals they set.
Why We Exist
Through research, data democratization, and specialized training and workshops, we equip the public with the scientific knowledge and practical tools necessary to lead forest conservation and practical climate action.
We also collaborate closely with partners on community-driven transparency and accountability projects.
